Partnach Gorge

A very pretty and slightly damp walk.  The logging industry used to run logs through here but I'm not sure how.  It's narrow and crazy fast.  They found another method because it was also pretty deadly.
There were two statues in the tunnels protecting us.

It was impossible to get the top and the bottom, but I did try.
All of the water that we saw in Bavaria and Austria was this color.  Per our Tour Guide it's because of the Calcium in the river bed.

Part of the walk was through tunnels in the rock.

3/4 of a happy picture.

There was an upper path as well, it may have been dryer but not nearly as cool.

At the end of the gorge we sat by the riverside and snacked.

Not very often that I photograph of a rainbow below me.

We took a carriage ride on the way down, smarter people would have taken it on the ride up.

A rare sight of the photographer being photographed.  I though she'd look more like Sasquatch.

Not all of the tunnels were tall enough for tall people, or bright enough to see with out a cell phone light to help out.
