Dad and Mill came down for a visit this past week. It was so nice to see them. We had a great time. We went to see Shrek, they got to see Isabel and Aurelia's last Soccer games and go to a pizza party. Along with the usualy hanging out and watching a few funny movies at night.

Here is Aurelia pulling weeds with Mamaw ans Isabel, isn't she working hard?
Here is Mamaw and Isabel doing the actual work.
They pulled half a bag of dandelions from our front yard and didn't even put a dent in the mess. Our front yard care is actually contracted out, they do a wonderful job don't they?

Papaw and Lincoln had a great time playing. Link was kind of sick but he did a great job of entertaining his Grandparents.

Patrick's curse has finally been lifted. He's always wanted to catch a ball at a game and has been to many without any luck. But on the 12th of May his luck changed. A foul ball came over the net straight at Isabel. Patrick sort of pushed her out of the way (he says to protect her) and then the ball went off the hand of guy in front of him. The ball fell down, hit the back of the bleacher and bounced back up. All Patrick had to do was grab it out of the air, it was right in front of him.

Here is Patrick oh so proud with his ball, hard to tell from the picture but he's ecstatic!

And the ball itself. It's from a Sky Sox game, they are the AAA team for the Rockies. .
The soccer season is finally over. The girls had a blast and learned a lot. Isabel learned how to apply her talents to something that she liked and she learned about teamwork. Aurelia learned that all 3 and 4 year old's are crazy and that when you are bored you are supposed to put a piece of grass in your mouth, like Tom Sawyer.

This is Isabel posing for a picture at her last game. There is actually a game going on but you all know what a ham she is.

It's kind of hard to see but this is Isa smothering a ball. She was a very good goalie for her team.

Here's me and Link at Rae's game. He didn't want to get a picture with me, he thought my hair was embarrassing!
Aurelia is coming back for a drink before the fun begins. Her last game was a mud bath. She came home head to toe mud and soaking wet to boot.

Two teams getting ready to face off for the last game of the season.

As I said the girls had a great time and so did I, watching all those crazy little people running around like chickens with their heads cut off, hiding from the swarm of bees and trying my best to stay warm and dry during all those spring showers.

6 months and ready to go! Lincoln has grown up a lot this past month. He's a very mobile roller, he tried to crawl yesterday and he has a crazy new head trick. He's 16 pounds and just shy of 27 inches. He was a teething nightmare for about 2 weeks, the teething is over but we have no teeth to show for it. He's been sleeping so much I thought he was growing, and he was...but he was growing hair, not taller!

Lincoln may have looked happy to be in jail but he was crying on the inside.

Jail scared Lincoln straight and he decided to join the military. Here he is in his bullet proof vest. They make them whole body covering these days.

Here is Link is his classic I just joined the Army picture. He's a little scared but I'm sure he'll do just fine.
It's been a great month, and I'm sure the next will be just as good. Love you all, see you next month!

One of Isabel's pictures was selected to be in an art show at a local library. We waited until the last day of the month long showing to go and see. She made her caterpillar picture at the beginning of the school year.

The masterpiece itself.

Isabel so proud with her picture in the background.

He's finally fixed. I took in the watch man and got him new matting and a new frame. I think that he looks pretty sharp. And when one of my munchkins (so many, many, many years from now) has the first girl then they can inherit my picture. And they can change the frame and matting because they'll think what I had on it was ugly!
